Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 13, 2026
This policy explains what information Sparkler Digital (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects when you visit sparklerdigital.com or reach out to us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We’re a web design and marketing studio based in Naples, Florida. Using this site means you’re okay with what’s described here.
Information you give us
When you fill out a form or contact us, you choose what to share. That typically includes:
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (if you add one), the service you’re interested in, and your message.
- Website Scorecard: the website address you want checked and, if you ask for the emailed fix list, your name and email.
- Anything else you choose to tell us by phone, text, or email.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours records some technical information when you visit or submit a form, so we can keep the site working, understand what’s useful, and follow up well:
- Your IP address and the approximate location it points to (typically city and region).
- Your device and browser type, and the kind of device you’re on.
- The pages you visit, the page you came from, and the link or campaign that brought you here (for example, search, social, or an ad).
- The date and time of your visit or submission.
Analytics
We measure how people find and use this site with our own first-party analytics — not Google Analytics. Nothing about your visit is sent to an advertising network by this measurement.
To tell one visit apart from the next, our script stores a random identifier called _sa_cid in your browser’s local storage. It is not a cookie, but it is an identifier: it stays in your browser until you clear your site data, and it is what lets us count a returning visitor as one person rather than two. It contains no name, email address, or anything else you typed.
Alongside it we record the pages you view, roughly how long you engage with them, how far you scroll, which links you click, the page or campaign that sent you here, your device, browser and operating system, and the country, region, city and approximate coordinates your IP address points to. Your IP address itself is not stored with your visit — it is combined with your browser type, the date, and a secret key into a one-way value we cannot reverse.
Turning it off. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, our script stops before it does anything at all: no identifier is stored and nothing is sent. Most privacy-focused browsers and extensions send one of these automatically, and clearing your site data removes the identifier.
Deleting your data. You can ask us to erase everything tied to your identifier and we will delete it — every page view, visit, and record — without needing to know who you are. Contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.
Maps. When we look at a map of where visitors came from, the map tiles are loaded from CARTO, which receives the map coordinates being viewed. It does not receive any information about you.
When you contact us: looking up business details
When you submit a form, we may use the email address and IP address you provide to look up publicly available business information that helps us prepare for our conversation and respond to the right person. This can include the approximate location of your visit, your company (often from your email domain), and — through a third-party business-data provider — your name, job title, company, and professional profile such as LinkedIn.
We use this only to understand who we’re talking to and to give you a more relevant, faster reply. We don’t sell it, and we don’t add this looked-up information to Google Analytics. If you’d rather we not look up or keep these details, just tell us and we’ll remove them — see “Your choices and rights” below.
How we use your information
- To reply to you, answer questions, and prepare quotes.
- To provide, run, and improve the services you ask for.
- To send the confirmation and fix-list emails you request, and occasional follow-ups about your inquiry.
- To understand how the site is performing and make it better.
- To keep the site and our systems secure and to prevent spam and abuse.
- To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
SMS and text messaging
If you provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive text messages from us, we will use that number only to send you the communications you agreed to receive (such as follow-ups, appointment reminders, or information about our services). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; reply HELP for help.
Your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in consent will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed for them to do their job. These include:
- Google — analytics, advertising, Maps, and Workspace email.
- Our website host and Cloudflare — to deliver and protect the site.
- Our email/SMTP provider — to send and receive messages with you.
- Location and business-data providers — to look up the details described above (for example, an IP-location service and a business-contact data provider).
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or sale. Each provider has its own privacy practices.
How long we keep it
We keep the information you send us for as long as we need it to respond to you, deliver our services, and keep reasonable business records, and then we delete or anonymize it. Analytics records are deleted automatically after 400 days. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your choices and rights
- Ask us what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.
- Ask us not to look up or keep the business details described above.
- Opt out of follow-up emails — reply “stop” or just let us know.
- Turn our analytics off entirely by enabling Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser, or clear your site data to reset the identifier.
- Ask us to erase every analytics record tied to your browser.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as those under California or other state privacy laws), and we’ll honor them where they apply. To make any request, contact us using the details below — we won’t treat you differently for asking.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including encrypted connections and limiting who can access it. No website or online service is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your information safe.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top. Significant changes may also be noted on the site.
